Time to say...

...THANK YOU

Ben und ich moechten uns bei allen bedanken die diesen Blog mitverfolgt haben, Kommentare hinterlassen oder in Mails oder SMS drauf reagiert haben, fuer die vielen "normalen" Mails, fuer die Sms, fuer die vielen unausgesprochenen gedanklichen Begleitungen meiner Reise, fuer die vielen guten Wuensche davor und waehrenddessen, fuers "Mitfiebern", ob alles gut klappt, sowohl zweimal auf dem Atlantik als auch ueberhaupt auf der gesamten Reise, fuers Dabeisein, auch ueber Tausende von Kilometern entfernt!!

Thank you to all my Couchsurfing hosts, to all my other hosts, to the staff at different museums, to all the nice busdrivers who helped me to get off at the right station, to all people on the street who helped me find the place/street/building I was looking for, to all nice people I met in buses/on ships/on the street/in hostels/...and with whom I had nice and funny chats...

not all of you will read this little thank you, but to some of you I can say that it is a pity that you are so far away...I wish I could have taken you back to Europe with me, hidden in my cabin on the ship, so I could chat with you and meet you more often.....I hope that you are coming to Europe one (very soon) day and I can be a great host to YOU too, show you MY city, make YOU taste some good typical stuff to eat,.....

Das groesste Danke geht noch mal an Ma&Pa....fuers Organisieren von meinen Leben daheim, das ja auch trotz meiner physischen Abwesenheit nicht ganz geschehnis-los gelaufen ist, fuers indirekte Mitfinanzieren meiner Reise, indem ihr mich die letzten Jahre nicht aus dem Haus geworfen habt und ich mir so einen Haufen Geld fuer die Reise ansparen hab koennen, fuer Mitverfolgen und dem Mitfiebern meiner Reise, fuers Fremdmedizinieren, und natuerlich fuer den gaaaaanz gaaaaaaaaanz tollen Empfang!!!
